We were honoured to host Minister for Defence Procurement Jeremy Quin yesterday. The Minister took time out of his busy schedule to meet with teams from across our Aerospace and Land Systems businesses including a number of our apprentices who were delighted to showcase the work they are involved in supporting the UK and our international customers.
Defence Procurement Minister, Jeremy Quin said:
“It’s been great to meet the team at Marshall and see the incredibly hard work they’re contributing to developing battle-winning capabilities for our Armed Forces.
“I continue to be impressed by the enthusiasm shown by apprentices across the UK Defence industry and Marshall is another excellent example of that. They are learning skills for the future and playing a crucial role in keeping our soldiers and aviators safe at home and overseas.”
Marshall CEO Kathy Jenkins comments:
“It is the first time that the Minister has visited us here in Cambridge and like many of our visitors he appeared to be very interested and impressed by the breadth of our capability across both the Air and Land domains and the contribution we are making to grow future skills.
“As a privately owned, agile British mid-tier business I know that, with the continued support of the government and MoD, Marshall has an important role to play in supporting the UK’s operational independence and in delivering increased prosperity through export growth.”
