Marshall is pleased to announce the appointment of Gareth Williams to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer for the group, reporting to CEO Kathy Jenkins.
Williams is joining Marshall after more than 15 years at Thales, where most latterly he was the global Vice President (Operations & International) responsible for the Cyber Defence Solutions business line, overseeing operations in twelve countries across Europe and the globe including the U.K., the U.S., and Australia.
Prior to Thales, he served as Operations Director for General Dynamics in the UK and held key operations roles in the corporation’s European business, working on the integration of U.S. and European vehicle technology companies.

This is a new role which will focus on the delivery of our modernisation programmes as well as securing operational performance across all of our businesses."

Williams began his career as a mechanical engineering apprentice engineer at Rolls-Royce and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
