Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group is exhibiting at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX – Hall 1 Stand C18) in Abu Dhabi between 17th and 21st February 2013, and will be showcasing its Integrated Operational Support (IOS) services to potential customers and partners.
IOS is a high-availability and reduced cost-of-ownership service model for military air forces; and a variant of the model, the Hercules IOS (HIOS), has made the C-130 one of the UK Royal Air Force’s most cost-effective transport platforms.
Steve Fitz-Gerald, CEO of Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, comments: “Our Integrated Operational Support service model has an impressive track record and through partnering with platform and systems OEMs, engine manufacturers, in-country MROs and others in the supply chain we can leverage our design capabilities and certification privileges to apply IOS to virtually any platform.”
Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group will also be using IDEX to showcase its Land Systems capabilities – which include deployable medical systems and integrated Command and Control and surveillance systems (C4ISTAR) – and the company’s Aeropeople division will be promoting its services, which include the supply of contract and permanent personnel, capability audits and training needs analysis.
Fitz-Gerald concludes: “This will be Marshall Aerospace and Defence Groups debut, as a single entity, at the tri-service IDEX show and reinforces our commitment to serve the Middle East with our innovative engineering and support solutions – in the air, on land and at sea.”
