Marshall Canada underlined its intention to establish Canada as its second home market at CANSEC this year, showcasing its range of capabilities across Air, Land and Skills Development.
Hosted by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), CANSEC is the nation’s largest security and defence show, attracting delegates from across the globe.
Marshall started the show on a high with the announcement of its plans to establish an Aerospace maintenance facility in Canada which it expects to be operational by 2025.
CEO Kathy Jenkins and Marshall Canada EVP Sam Michaud spent time during the show meeting with industry leaders and UK and Canadian government representatives to share more details about the company’s growth plans—including representatives from the UK’s Department for Business and Trade; Canadian Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development Mary Ng; and British High Commissioner to Canada Susannah Goshko.
In addition to its booth in the main exhibition hall highlighting the breadth of Marshall Canada’s offerings, the team also brought one of its 20ft deployable shelters, fully powered and featuring a functioning HVAC system, to showcase the capabilities of its Land Systems business which will open a new 82,000 sq ft facility in New Brunswick later this year.
The facility will produce a range of specialist containers to support the North American and international markets.
Elsewhere, Marshall joined Power Team partners General Dynamics Land Systems to offer an immersive VR experience demonstrating its 10FT container variants for Canada's Logistics Vehicle Modernization Program (LVM).
Rounding off a memorable week, Marshall Canada received an award from economic development agency Opportunities NB in recognition of the company’s contribution to growth and investment in the province of New Brunswick.
