Marshall has welcomed the recently published UK aerospace industrial strategy published by the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. The sector deal builds on the UK’s successful industrial strategy for aerospace, and provides up to £125m Government investment in a Future Flight Challenge to develop new technology such as electric aircraft and urban air vehicles.
Development of these new technologies in the UK has the potential to deliver both economic prosperity and environmental benefits, by further reducing noise and carbon emissions associated with aviation.
This announcement ties in with Marshall’s own focus on innovation and advanced technology.
