Marshall of Cambridge (Holdings) Ltd has announced a change on the main board of the Cambridge‐based private company.
Robert Marshall stands down
After almost 27 years with the Company, including 20 years as a director, Robert Marshall is standing down from the Board and his roles in the business. Robert is turning his full attention to building Martlet Capital as an independent earlystage investor based in Cambridge, providing patient capital to deep technology and life science start‐ups with high growth potential. Marshall of Cambridge has backed Martlet Capital from its foundation and remains a major investor in its current portfolio.
In order to devote his time to this, whilst he remains one of the family shareholders in the Company, Robert will no longer be involved with the business or any of its subsidiaries.
Alex Dorrian CBE, Executive Chairman of Marshall commented: “We are very grateful to Robert for the years he has dedicated to the business, including 20 years on the main board and 7 years as Group Chief Executive and we wish him well in the future as he continues to grow Martlet Capital.”
